yay! ive just decided to go natural 2! first thing you do is try to wear protective styles so your hair wont break from the two textures meeting together...gradually trim off permed hair..keep it moist!! NO GREASE. look in the ingredients for petrolem..if its got petroleum in it..THROW IT OUT! its not good. go 2 a beauty supply store and get natural oils (olive oil, sunflower oil. hazlenut, grapeseed are just to name a few)

think of some styles; rock some braids, straw set, weave..etc etc

here are some GREAT sites ive been using! good luck girl!

You DEFINETLY need to trim it every two months, so the ends don't get dead and stop growing. Deep condition your ends to keep them moisturized.

Like I said to someone else earlier, vitamins and a good diet are your best bet. Try a women's once daily vitamin or a prenatal vitamin (you don't have to be pregnant to take a prenatal!).

Just be careful about brushing your hair when it's wet or using lots of styling products or you'll just damage your hair.

Good luck!! ;-)

Go here, http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/ I think they have a natural hair thread. They can help you out! I wish I could go natural but I'm addicted to weaves.

Lavender oil has been shown to increase hair growth so massage the oil once a week and soak for 30 minutes before washing. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.
