I have natural hair and I like to use Blue Magic Coconut oil. I also like anything with tea tree oil in it, gives a nice tingle to the scalp.

I make my own "hair grease." I buy 100% shea butter, 100% mango butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, vitamin E and a touch of glycerin. I buy all these natural products from ebay (the more you buy at once, the more you save on shipping!). I soften the solid butters in the microwave and add the liquid ingredients afterwards. Once the concoction cools, you have a nice creamy base. My hair is so soft and never brittle and there is no greasy feel! Mineral oil and petroleum only coat the hair and do not moisturize. Oh, I am 100% natural (no relaxer here) and my hair is bra-strap length. Hope this helps. It is really worth the effort.

Oh, if you leave out the glycerin, you have a great body moisturizer as well. ;)
