Hated highlites,got hair dyed,came out,got redyed.Howlong till my natural color comes back?

i really just want my natural light brown hair to come back. the roots are showing and their lighter than the rest of my hair. is there any way to speed up the growing out stage. i grately appreicate every piece of advice.

Make sure to get regular trims to start. Also, why not go have your hair lightened to the color of your roots? A good hairdresser can do that. If you are in Orange County then let me know and I can refer you. But if all else fails eat a lot of veggies and take Gelatin capsules...they work!

take your vitamins and be patient, also you could have a color remover put on your hair to get rid off the dark color and then colored your natural level.

I am currently going through that stage, and it really sucks because it just looks so weird...well, not really for me, but still, I want my light brown hair to come back too.

Right now, all that I am doing is getting it cut every month because the more your hair is cut, the more dye comes out, plus your hair gets healthier. So, basically, just concentrate on getting your hair healthier, learn that colouring your hair isn't the greatest for your hair, and just give it time.
