Just dye it too a darker shade and leave it alone. Be aware that your highlights will lighten faster now that they have been highlighted. Good luck.

Grow it out and cut the colored parts off. To stimulate hair growth, get it trimmed regularly.

Unfortunately no the only thing you can do is dye it as close to your natural color and allow your hair to grow out and just keep cutting the ends off. Eventually all the highlights will grow out

you can grow it out....only thing is the regrowth can look a little tacky....i would put rinses through rather than dying it...the chemicals are not as harsh as the permanent dyes...

one of my friends has dark brown hair and got blonde highlights but she just recently dyed her hair a dark brown color that was really close to her natural color. let your hair grow out enough so that you can see your roots a little bit and ask the hairstylist if they have a color thats really close or the same as it, when your hair grows out more it wont be too noticeable and you can just grow it out until you just have your natural color back. hope it helps!

if it were just highlights it would be ok to let to grow out, but with all over hair color, you either have to live with roots until it grows out, or try to color it back to something close to your natural color, but this color will fade in time , so you will still have roots. so, I guess either deal with roots and get it cut or re-dye it. sorry this probably isn't the answer you wanted, but I have had the same problem, and I will check back to see it anyone else has a better solution.
