I'm older than 60, why hasn't my natural hair turned gray yet?

you must be one laid back kat. I'm 28 and I'm getting some salt in my pepper from stress. I don't know man. If I were 60 and lucky enough to have kept my natural hair color I would not question good fortune-kind of like the way coaches never talk to their pitchers during a no hitter, you dig?

What a curious question. Do you have some unnatural hair that has turned gray or has all of your natural hair just disappeared baldy?

The medical reason is that the melanin in your hair is still plentiful, as it was during your youth. Consider yourself very fortunate. Most people would love to be in your position.

There are a lot of people who just don't turn gray. My Dad is 80 and his sideburns have just started turning gray. My Mom is 76 and has no gray what so ever. I wish I had there hair. I already have a few but thats still to many for me.

I also have a brother-in-law who was all gray at 27. There's no rhyme or reason.
