you dont have to cut it. their is this chemical you can buy that reverses the effects of relaxers/perms. You can also try washing it out..alot. but the chemical ill cause some of your hair to fall out but that is better than cutting off all your hair. Also, if you feel you have to cut it, let some of your natural hair grown so that you can see exactly where you need to cut off the relaxed part. And if your not really ina rush..just dont relaze it again because relaxers dont last that long like[3 months].

You can either cut it or grow it out.

Some people find it easier to cut it because dealing with two textures can be frustrating and costly. That's the way to go if you don't mind having short hair. It's the method that I chose because I can learn about my hair as it grows. I went about 6 weeks without a relaxer and got my hair cut finger-length all over. All I had left was new growth.How low you want to go depends on you. Some women are comfortable being bald.

You can grow out your relaxer with braids, twists, cornrows, weaves, wigs, headwraps, roller sets, straw sets, etc. Eventually, you will need to cut the relaxed hair off, or it will break off.
