Let's say you dye it, and a few weeks later, you don't like it any more. Is there a way to reverse it? I have no idea how the dyeing process works, so no smart comments please.

Bleach. If you dont liek it, you'll HAVE to go to a salon %26amp; they bleach your hair %26amp; get the old color out that returns you to your natural color. I dont suggest you dye it, because if you dont like it %26amp; they have to go through the process of bleaching it, it will turn out like straw. %26amp; if you have curly hair, it will leave your hair permanantly striaght. %26amp; you will never get your curls back.

Go to a Beauty Supply Store and go to the hair dye section. Pick out a swatch that closely matches your original hair color, so that when your hair grows out, it will match closely.

i wish i could do that. i would just dye it again. lol. only way is the hair salon. sorry. i wouldnt bother going though. i just dye my hair over and over and over agoin. lol. ive dyed my hair with real hair dye 6 times, high lighted it twice, sun ined it once, and dyed it with wash out hair dye too many times to count on your fingers. lol (i'm only 14)

I'm not a hairdresser and seriously have no clue about hair.. but i've died my hair a few times and then after 2 weeks it has that brassy *** look and dullness... my hairdresser told me to use dawn dish detergent ( the liquid) and it strips the color out of it.. I think that helped but made my hair really coarse so use a good conditioner after that.. I use shimmer and lights ( its in a purple bottle).. and it kinda helps restore the natural hair color.. That works the best for me so far.. Sorry I couldn't be much help~ Hope u get a better response! ;-)

Yes there is if you ask your person that does your hair there is a way.That is how i fix my hair i dyed it black i got it back to brown with the red tint to it like it did.

Sorry...can't reverse it. You can take a photo of your hair (before it was dyed) and ask your hairdresser what can be done to get it close to your natural color. Good luck!

There is a product out there that only professionals can get that will ONLY remove artifical color. It is made by Goldwell, It stinks but works wonders. Dont be fooled by products that say "color remover" because they will not only remove artifical color but also remove everything except for your underlining pigment. It most cases that is orange!! You can pretty much figure thought that once you color your hair that you will never "go back" to your natural color unless you grow your hair out and cut out all the color. I couldnt tell you the last time i saw my natural color.

NO, your hair has to grow out .... It will take years to regrow if you dye your long hair today.
