Natural afro hair to curls?

am afro-latino but somehow my hair is just pure i mean pure afro like 100% black people i like it but i want to change it to something like this

thats shaggy the singer on your left (my hair is the same size as that) he is 100% black and i want to know what can i use to archieve that. any1 please help me asap.

Don`t just tell me to ask my hair dresser she told me to get braids and take it out and not comb which is not permanent lol

After you wash your hair use a conditioner. Comb it through while the conditioner is in. Rinse your hair, as instructed. Do not comb your hair after you wash it. Distribute curl activator and spray moisturizer through out you hair. Let it dry naturally.
