Natural red hair but i want to dye it blonde and or black??

i cant really go to a professional but im really tired off being the red head...i dont want blonde highlights they never show up i tried a long time ago it just made my hair brighter i think im gonna ask my moms boss to dye it since she went to school for hair stuff but i dont know if she knows how ....grrrrrr . i think i would look good with black hair but my friend says i would look better with blonde idk which one not just the regular blonde i want it like white if i get that.

I'd say go blonde, although I have no idea what you look like. But I love red hair! There are less then 2% of natural redheads born and I think you should keep it and totally rock it, but if you want to change it I'd say blonde, not too blonde like white because it will wash you out and probably look really unnatural, I'd for for an Ash Blonde instead, its pretty light, but will be better then a white/platinum blonde.

Why? only 2% of the worlds poulation are natural red heads? Millions of people buy red hair dye everyday, why would you want to dye it? Red is exotic! but if you insist, black with thick blonde streaks would look super awesome, or vice versa?
