What's the best at home hair dye that will dye my hair back to it's natural color to get rid of my highlights?

AFter having highlights for a couple years I couldnt afford to get a foil anymore so I dyed my hair black to match (very close) my color. When I did want to get it foiled again, it was hard to break through the color. I would suggest going to a salon and have them do it. An all-over is cheaper than a foil anyway.

I would try Herbal Essence hair dye it always worked for me.... dosen't smell totatly horrible....

if something went wrong with what you initially wanted with the highlights in the first place, i would go to a salon to ensure that something disastrous doesn't happen.
