Has anyone used any of the Curl Junkie products for natural hair? What works? How do they smell?

What is your texture or the person who used them? What length is the user's hair? Any tips on getting good curls and such? Do you use any other company's hair products to manage curly hair?

I did the BC in August and have tried several different methods to define my natural curl pattern. I use Kinky-Curly Curling Custard now to define my curls. It contains all natural products so there aren't any harmful chemicals that you will find in most commercialized products. Also it smells great. The leave-in conditioner that is found on the website is good but I tend to mix it with a leave-in conditioner I found at Whole Foods (they have a good selection of products for natural hair). I tried Miss Jessie's Buttercreme. Although it worked pretty well, I felt the price was a bit overboard (I tried a friend's b/c she had recently purchased more of the product and had been using it for a while. Proclaim Curl Activator Gel works well with defining curls but I felt as though I had to wash my hair everyday to minimize build-up. I also use Pooka Hair Butter and the Hair Oil which both keep my hair very moisturized.

The best product is Curls Up from FX Special Effects. You can get it at Walgreens, CVS, etc. You'll love it!
