I have a dilemma. I have wavy shoulder length natural brown reddish hair.?

Several of my friends have suggested that I should color my hair because my white is starting to show. I am perfectly happy with my hair (I have about 10 whites showing). They all color their hair because they are afraid of getting old. I have completely ignored them and left my hair alone, but they continue to persist in the hair coloring. What else can I do to tell them to mind their own business? Even if they pay I won't do it.

don't know your age..but DON'T COLOR BROWN RED..for 10 gray hairs...You get are hairdressers who want to duplicate your RED color which is distarous...a handfull of golden highlights will work fine..grows in naturally, the gray blends in with the highlight and if you are lucky you will only need it once a year..maybe twice..

Tell them you are very happy with how you look and if they bring up the subject again, tell them they can look for another friend.

Tell them that if they dont like it too bad.

Just tell them that its your choice whether or not to colour your hair. They make their own choices about how to look and such, and you should be able to make that choice yourself. No one should do something that someone else tells them to do. Its your choice what hair colour you want, not theirs.

If you it once, you will be hooked on it... I started coloring my hair as everyone was doing it and hve regreted making that decision...As, the hair gets weak, an starts to shred... So, if you do not want to do it the dont.,,,,,if they tell you to jump in a well, would you? I think you can make best choices for yourself... so think about and do what you like not what they want you to do

if you dont want to color it you dont have to they shouldn't care about the way you look maybe even they should look in the mirror

Tell them you don't want to and are not going to dye your hair (no matter what the circumstances) and that they should butt out. It's YOUR hair on YOUR head, and they get no say in it. That's the best I can tell you. If they still persist, tell them you'd like to keep your hair healthy as long as you can and that you don't want to have to worry about roots showing, as you've seen it on some close friends and it looks pretty bad. (That last bit is catty, but I couldn't resist) Hope that helps.
